We want you to leave work in the same condition which you arrived. If you notice anything unsafe during your Pre-Vehicle Inspection (DVIC) or during your route, STOP and call Dispatch immediately. It is our top priority to keep you safe as well as our community members which we deliver to.
We are all here to help.
Please inspect all your equipment before your route:
- Ensure your phone is at 100% battery
- Ensure your charging cord works when plugged into the battery backup
- Ensure the battery backup or your second phone is working and fully charged
- Inspect the van for missing equipment
- Inspect the van for safety concerns
Come to work prepared!
- Bring water; keeping hydrated is key
- Bring snacks/lunch
- Dress appropriately for the weather; wearing the appropriate shoes for the weather really makes a difference in our line of work. Consider ordering a pair of heavier winter boots using the Zappos Free Shoes program, or Saftey Slip Proof shoes. (Layers are really good for fall/winter days, sunscreen & hat for the sunny days).
